Ethiopian Cuisine

Class Description: Mulu has made Ambo Ethiopian Cuisine one of the Bellingham Farmers Market’s most popular destinations for years. In this class, she demonstrates how to make some of her most popular dishes including yetefeche siga (spicy ground beef), tikil gomen (stewed cabbage), and inguday tibs (sauteed mushrooms). Injera, the unique spongy sourdough flatbread that accompanies all Ethiopian feasts, will round out the menu. REGISTRATION OPENS 2/20 • $35 Register at Whatcom Community College in their Community Education Program (360-383-3200)  Class to be held at the Whatcom Community Food Co-op, Cordata Location •

Injera, the sourdough flatbread that accompanies traditional Ethiopian menus, fills out the menu.

Injera, the sourdough flatbread that accompanies traditional Ethiopian menus, fills out the menu. Cost: $35 members and non-members.     Will you have any classes in 2014? I’d love to go to an Ethiopian cooking class! I’ve tried to make Ethiopian myself many times, but for some reason it never turns out as good as the restaurants!
